I have had this problem with my S6. The lines develop
leaks due due to rust corroding the line inside the
rubber holders and the metal clip. After pricing the
replacement lines at over $200, I decided on a repair
procedure another lister gave me. I removed all the
rubber line holders underneath the car. I then cut out
the rusted through sections with a tubing cutter. I
bought some fuel injection hose, 8mm I think, and
slipped it over the hard steel line remaining. Put two
hose clamps on it and put it back under the steel
clips. After closing the clip I zipped tied things
secure. I also cut up some small sections of rubber
fuel line to use as protection around the existing
lines inside the clip.
It may not look pretty but functions well. I figured
if I bought new lines and secured them in the same as
stock fashion, problem would reoccur.
The best fix would be replacement stainless lines
someday.
Oh yeah, total repair cost $15.
