In the Canadian Rally Championship there is a TT competing in either Production
(slight mods) or Group N (many mods) class, I can't remember. The biggest
problem that I know of is the weight of the car. It's over-built to last and
is a bit uncompetitive - similar to the Skoda Octavia (think Passat or between
A4 & A6 size) that competes in the WRC. Skoda is rolling out the new Fabia
based WRC car this summer sized similarily to a Jetta or A4.
There was a RS2 competing for many years in the Canadian Rally Championships
with the last all-aluminum factory race blocks left in the world (Sprongl
brothers). Was being the operative word...
