Doug-
For street driving, my recommendation, after living with them for a year
and doing a few track events on them- Hawk HPS. They do dust, they're
not
like Mintex Red Box in that regard, but they don't squeal, they're very
good performing pads and less dust than OEM Pagid/Ate.
I'm putting Hawk HPS on the A4 as well.
I have Hawk HP Plus on the rear of the 200 and I'm unhappy- way too
dusty
for street use, going with HPS next time and using Porterfield R4
probably
for track use.

Just confirming... for my daily driver, no track use, Do I want the
Ctech 1144's? I know I want clean wheels - low brake dust on my 18" S8
wheels and no obnoxious squealing noises (some upon cold starts is
okay). The increased stopping power is for 1) emergency/panic stops and
2)rapid reduction in speed from about 100-105 to below 70 as soon as the
V1 goes off. Perhaps if I hide in other traffic quickly enough, I'll
escape!? any thoughts, BTDTs?
