[s-cars] 4 lug to 5 lug conversion?

The 5-bolt conversion on a 4kq is a bit different. I used front strut/hub
assemblies from an Audi 5000 turbo with VW golf tie rod ends and rear 4kq
axles (swapped right rear to left front and left rear to right front) on
the front. The rear is easier on the 4kq. All you need to do is press in
the front or rear hubs (they are the same) from a 5kq and have your rear
4kq rotors redrilled to a 5-112 bolt pattern.

If you use the 5k strut/hub assemblies up front, remember that you will NOT
be able to use your stock G54 calipers unless you get urq caliper
carriers. However, you WILL be able to bolt on G60 calipers, the later
style single piston calipers as found on the late '89 and '90 200tq, A4
brake setups, or any of the aftermarket kits designed for the ur-S4, A4,
etc. A big plus IMHO.

HTH.
