I spent 6 months on a set of Kumho 712s, in a 235/45 17" size. They're heavy
and stiff, but handle well in both wet and dry. Overall I'd give them a B.
Dunlop 9000s aren't quite as crisp, but handle just as well and ride better.
I'd also check out the Sumitomo HTRZ IIs, if they'll fit.
And more than a few of us are running Toyo T1S, available ina wide variety
of sizes. Very comfortable, light, great handling tire, but with less crisp
turn-in than the Kumhos.
