Not to rough... you'll need EM to turbo gasket, turbo to downtube gasket, oil
feed line gasket, oil return line gasket, wastegate to flex coupling gasket,
and the EM to head gasket. You'll also need the short EM studs for the RS2
manifold. Removal of the original manifold is quite easy, as the design of
that manifold allows easy access to all the EM studs. Install is a different
story. Much more limited access to the studs. Get a "shorty" 12mm wrench.
The 3 or 4 lower studs near the center of the manifold present a significant
challenge to tighten.
Before you attempt to install your turbo, compare it to your K24. You want
to make sure that everything is aligned the same... meaning, if you sit the
turbos side by side, make sure everything is pointed in the same direction...
inlets, outlets, oil and coolant in and out lines. If they don't, loosen the
bolts on the hot and/or cold sides, and rotate things until they align. Not
doing this before you install will likely cause you huge headaches. The rest
is fairly straightforward. You'll likely have to take studs out of your K24
and install into your RS2 as well.
HTH,
Dave
