[s-cars] Backwards wastegate fexible flange

Dear list,
Can anyone chime in on the possible effects, negative
or otherwise on a backwards installed wastegate
flexible flange. This is the 6 inch, acordian looking
pipe off the wgate. Next to the part # stamped on it
is an arrow, mine is pointing at the wgate, not away
from it. I'm assuming that this arrow indicates
direction of flow. While looking inside it appears
that this pipe reduces and the smaller inside diameter
is the end closer to the wgate. Hence the question, is
this thing restricting flow and causing other
issues???
