Yeah -- think you're right. I personally use the same parafin spray that
I use on my motorcycle chains. Dries quickly and doesn't seem to attract
the grime. Works pretty well (and stays clean) for a few months. Seems
to nurse it past the no doubt worn nylon inserts.
