Sounds like you're talking about the line to the bypass valve.

Is this a 4.5mm fabric-covered vacuum line?

IF that is the problem, the fix is easy- new vacuum line, new hose
clamps, replace the whole thing, quick fix for the time being.

Trevor Frank is right now @ The Glen. The # I gave you
earlier isn't working, here's the new #
1-408-460-0502.
His question is:
There's 2 vacuum fittings on the back of the IM, one
that goes to the ECU and one that goes to PARTS
UNKNOWN. This is his suspected airleak, can he block
it off and still run, THAT'S THE QUESTION. If not,
what's the fix., He's got a Bentley but it's pretty inconclusive. Hope
someone can help. later bb
