Thomas..you are a Golden GOD! Thank You...it wasn't easy to do the lowers alone but only required 2 people to get the last bit off. I took her for a test drive..and it was better but not gone totally. Hoping I wouldn't have to do the uppers rubber spring covers also came back and put her back on the jack and sliced those off also...took it for a test drive...as you say "Quiet as a Mouse"
For those of you that have H&R springs (Chad) and have this creaking noise..give it a try!
Here are the steps:
-1) Jack up car and put on jack stands
-2) Remove wheels
-3) Start to slice the rubber sheathing off of the springs upper AND lower.
- Use a sharp utility knife to work around the spring.
- You can rotate the spring about 1/4 turn w/ your hands but does take some effort
- Use a Crow-bar to pry up the spring a bit to get that last bit on the bottom of the spring off
- Be careful not to bend the lower perch w/ the bar (opps)
-4) It really just take patience and eventually you will have the SOB's off!!
Take her for a test drive...ahhhhhh that is more like IT!!!
For anyone putting on NEW H&R's make sure to remove this covering before you put them on the car!!!
Now for my next Mod...do you think she will fit Hap?!

Thanks Again Thomas

No, not the shock, the spring ! I had the same "exact" problem with my car.
There is a clear plastic sleeve that ships on the spring. I've heard a
couple of different reasons why it's there but anywho, after I had mine
installed I had the creek your talking about. When I brought it back to the
shop I use, the owner showed me that because of the extra width of the
tubing the bottom and end of the spring doesn't sit like it's supposed to in
the perch. He said he had told the tech to remove them before installing but
the guy never did. We lifted the car and with a huge crow bar we lifted the
spring enough to slide the tubing up off the perch and cut it off. Voila !!!
been quiet as a mouse ever since...
HTH,
tom.

Gentlemen,
For those of us that are running the H&R/Bilstein Sport suspension I
know of at least 2 others that have creaking in the front end after install.
I have replaced the following in trying to diagnose the issue:
-1) Upper Strut Bearings
-2) Added Corrective Camber Plates (Including Upper Spring Seats...Same as
Upper Spring Perches?)
- Did have one cracked one on the right front
-3) Sway Bar Bushings Inter and Outer (Helped some but noise not gone yet)
-4) Right Motor Mount
-5) APR Snub Mount
-6) Alignment in spec front and rear
I am starting to run out of options here...does anyone else have the same
set-up with no issues?
Creaking on compression?
Maneuvering in the parking lot?!
Any Eibach/Bilstein or Koni users w/ the same issue?
Thanks
cp
