Thought I ramble in here with some thoughts. When the new 2nd generation
2Bennett camber plates(able to adjust camber and caster) went in the tech
wanted to know where I wanted to set the caster. I told him to decrease it
for better turn-in. The adverse side of this is that my tramlining has
increased as well.

I was out driving after fixing a nagging boost leak that was robbing my low
end power. Weather was a glorious 34 degrees F. with tons of moisture just
short of precipitation. I'm caught by traffic in a multi-lane on ramp and I
see my opening. Off I go go in 2nd and oh my goodness. Did I mention my car
is very powerful. Since the car was going up a slight incline and Apexi was
set to low boost at 24lbs, the front end got a little light and the
tramlining was severe. I almost lost control of the car. I thought I had a
front flat or loose wheel. I pulled over and checked everything. Nothing.

The moral here is that there are always compromises. I think I'm going to
dial that caster out again and lose some of that turn-in. I'll save that
setting to match up with an increased negative caster for my track set-up.
The 2Bennett plates are not cheap at $500 but you can dial the caster and
probably help your tramlining. I also know that tires have a tremendous
impact on this problem so ask around about choices.

Hap, diggin out of 8" of snow in Everboost, Maguire
