- they suggest a moth ball or two, but then the link came off a Fiat/Alfa
list :-);
- looks like a good pre-storage brake fluid flush is a smart idea. That
stuff likes to absorb water.
- The Fiat Alfa boys offer a further refinement to the "... elevate tires
off ground" advice. They suggest use of strategically placed jack stands to
maintain suspension compression. An added advantage is you can manually
turn over the wheels occasionally to recoat transmission gears w/ oil.
- vapor barrier dirt floors, if that's a factor.
- & oh yes, condomize the exhaust pipe :-) The Fiat guys say its for
protection against water, but we know it them rodents that can be dangerous.
Probably couldn't hurt, in addition to the mothballs to drop one of those
mouse bait traps in the car, and keep them in the garage area too.
