[s-cars] Did my radiator fan kill my battery?

The older Audis have a thermal switch that controls the after run fan and
pump.

On my 200T, this thermal switch failed, and the after run fan and pump both
ran after every startup, whether or not the engine was hot. With a series of
short trips, the battery would get worn down.

I don't know whether the S cars have this switch...I'd assume so...and this
would be the first place to look. It's not a common failure. In fact, when
the switch went on my 200, it was the first in the country for that year,
and it happened in June!
