We ran the S03's and they held up very well, rather expensive though,
but a very good wet tire.. I destroyed a set of Sumitomo HRZII in one
track event. We couldn't run T1S's otherwise we would have. I also
would consider the Kuhmo MX's for longevity and price/performance.
255-35-18's with no rubbing front or rear on 18x35x8.5 rims.
Get heavier springs and or role the rear fender?

Subject: [s-cars] 255's
All,
Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I was wondering who is running 255/40/17
Pole S03's on the following setup and experience any *significant*
rubbing (occasional rear fender liner rub with your 450lb aunt in the
back seat does not count):
17x8 wheels, ET35
Bilstein/H&R (29921's)
happersized RSB
Bridgestone claims that their 255/40/17 = 9.4" wide (on an 8.5" wheel).
By comparison, the Toyo T1-S in the same size measures 10.4" in width,
and the Dunlop 8000 measures in at 10.7" (damn).
Thanks!
Ray
