Interesting Hap, what are you running up front? For agressive
street/occasional track, I have been setting up T44tq with 400in/lb linear
rears for many years (albeit 10in for more travel to bind), no rear bar at
all. For a completely street setup, I put in 325 rear linears (which
correspond to the later offered 330 H&R). WRT rear bars, I don't agree with
them *without* the addition of a bigger front bar (which is really the
problem). I think what you'll find is that a bigger front will dictate a
smaller (or none) rear bar. On one of my customer's full track T44tq's I
run a smaller than 26mm swaybar, and with 400in/lb springs, it will hop (=
too much rear spring rate). That's with a 30mm bar up front with Poly inner
bushings.

Might be interesting to do a back to back comparo with and without that rear
bar. It might also be interesting to find yourself someone that will make a
bigger front bar, and really solve the Urs handling problem.

For the record I run my bar at the middle, 140lb setting. I am also running
Bilstein Sports and custom coil-overs in the rear with 8" 400lb linear Eibach
springs. When working with the suspension fabricator he collected as much
info
as I could gather about weight distribution, spring and shock rates, etc.
What
I asked for was neutral handling at turn-in and apex with slight oversteer at
exit. From my humble observations, he hit it right on the mark.
