Riff:

That was an easy decision on the suspension, wasn't it? As we talked at
Paul's last time, I didn't think you'd be happy with the stock
suspension very long. The 29800 is for the '89-'91 200's. The "Sport"
spring for these cars is the 29921 (aka "V8" springs) and the "Race"
spring is the 29771. You can probably use the 29800 on the S-cars but I
think you'd find the spring rate too low (too soft)... You should find
the 29921/29771's for around $300 (Try www.bimmerparts.com).

These cars are fantastic autobahn cruisers! Once the turbo is spooled
up, just a touch of the gas and you're off (350 lb-ft torque in that
midrange when you're cruisng at 100+) -- right Kevin?

PS Tell us more on the dyno!

>Well it did not take long, but I want to upgrade the suspension in the

seperately), I got to let the car run for a bit. The comfortable ride @
60 becomes floaty at 100+, not a

>Anyway, I found a guy wanting to unload a set of H&R springs (29800's,
did not give the full #) for $200. On the UrS4
>site, all the springs listed are discontinued and that the Eibach are
>the preferred spring. Are these a good
>purchase/price? Are there still vendors that have these out there?
Opinions appreciated.
