[s-cars] Engine mounts

Robert,

BTDT this past spring.
You don't really need to raise the engine that much at all. Just take the
weight off of it. The mounts will drop down when you take them out. Do
yourself a favor and replace as many of the radiator hoses as you can, and
do the motor mounts while the hoses are out. Also, replace all of your
vacuum line while you're at it.
I did have to jack the back of the tranny up pretty high to replace the
tranny mounts, however.

Iam doing a timing belt replacement on 95.5 S6 and was wondering if the
engine can be raised high enough to replace the engine mounts without
disconnecting
the transmission. Anyone done this?

Thanks,

Robert
