When I upgraded my brakes to BIRA S3, I originally did not use the
silencers. Had pretty good squeal. Then I added the silencers...they didn't
reduce the squeal at all. I've gotten rid of the silencers and changed brake
pads (from Mintex Reds to Hawk HPS), now things are much better.
