[s-cars] Creaky steering wheel

Hi,
I bought a 1995 S6 Avant a few months ago and have noticed that the steering
wheel gets squeaky when turning from just off-center.  The person I bought
the car said that he replaced the steering rack before I got the car, but I
don't have any of those records.  Does anyone know how to fix the squeaking,
or is it a sign that the rack needs to be replaced?  Thanks.
