[s-cars] S6+ bumper swap problems

Tom, and anyone else on the list who has done this bumper swap:

HELP!

I finally got around to working a deal with the body shop that owed me wome
work where they're putting the S6+ bumper on the avant...and they even have
it all painted already...and they say it won't fit.  They said the "impact
absorbers" (bumper shocks, right?) don't match up and can't be made to work
out right.  What gives?  I thought it was as straight swap?  Please advise
ASAP!
