[s-cars] Steering rack mount reinforcement bracket p/n...found

I spent some quality time earlier in the week with my copy of the FA, and I=
 came up with what sounded like was the steering rack mounting reinforcemen=
t piece. It was listed as "reinforcement for steering gear lhd," p/n 443 80=
9 489. Oddly enough, the part number was only listed for the '95-'97 A6 Qua=
ttro (illustration 805-00), and not the '92-'94 100 or 100 Quattro, or the =
'95-'97 A6 non-Quattro. Also, the part is not shown in the illustration, an=
d is just thrown in towards the end of the page. I checked with www.vwparts=
.com, and they listed the part for $12.26, so I ordered it. It arrived toda=
y, and sure enough it is the correct reinforcement piece. It appears to be =
the same one as the original that is currently on my '92 100S, and does not=
 look to be made of thicker gauge steel, etc. Considering my original held =
for 10 years before cracking, I'm guessing this new one will work just fine.
