Yes and Yes  I don't know if it was the first lap though. It was
cresting turn one and got light, he did a 360 and came about 2 or 3 feet
from the inside wall, that means over the cones and into the track
entrance road.  I suspect a change of close was in order after that.  No
pictures, no video.  We didn't see the car back on the road after that.
There was also some talk that I had heard about high speed stability of
the car.

At laguna, if you haven't been there turn one is more of a kink at the
crest of basically the longest straight after exiting the sharpest turn
and going to the entrance of a hairpin.  Many high HP cars tend to get a
bit light and if the car isn't sorted before cresting the hill it can be
quite a lot to handle.

I heard the Bugatti Veyron did a few laps at Laguna Seca during the
Monterey
Historics this year.
Is it true ?
If so, does anybody has any pictures / videos

Also I heard the car had some problems during those laps.  Even on the
first
curve of the first lap.
Is it also true ?
