[s-cars] No Start Condition

S-listers,

I let a bud borrow my car and when he came out of the store, the car would =
not start....similar to the previous no start thread.  Everything on the ca=
r works, but when you turn the key to start, NOTHING ... the start does not=
 even turn.

Of consequence, my auto-theft will not trigger, either.  I know the system =
works by disabling the starter by not providing current to the solenoid/sta=
rter ... where is the relay that controls this?  How do I reset it (and no,=
 just locking and unlocking the car with a key does not fix the problem).

I have Pro-Diag, if that helps, but no menu for "theft deterrent system."

.=2E.or has the starter the culprit?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
