I assume you mean 5 psi.  Let's keep our units straight here.  If you're
going to talk inches you have to specify water or mercury...or whatever.
For the record:

1 atmosphere = 14.7 psi = 1.01325 Bar  101,325 Pa = 29.92 inches of mercury
= 760 mm of mercury = 33.91 ft of water = 10.34 m of water = zero on the
typical boost gauge at sea level.  To be correct when measuring pressure you
should add 'a' for absolute pressure or 'g' for gauge pressure, eg. if
you're running 25 pounds of boost that's 25 psig or 39.7 psia.  Pressure
differences of course are just in whatever units you're in.
