[s-cars] side view mirrors

As suggested by other listers, you can replace the glass only. If you
choose this option, pull gently on the original glass as the plastic
clips tend to become brittle over time. Also, put crazy glue on the side
of the new glasses to seal them so they won't rust again.

You can also find acrylic mirors you can glue on the original glass.
Cheap, easy and no risk. Downside, the defrost won't be as efficient and
I don't know about long term issues. Blaufergnungen had them precut for
the Audi 90 so they may have them for the urS6 too. If not, glass shop
usually carry them in large sheets and can custom cut it for you.

Hey everyone. On my 95.5 S6, both of the side view mirrors are about
half-delaminated. On both of them, part of the mirror is a big ugly
brown
splotch. Consequently, they will not pass state inspection. What can I
do in
this case? Do I have to purchase complete mirror assemblies or will a
cheaper solution suffice? Thanks,

Rokas
