I don't know if the Sumitomo HTR+ is the same tire as the Sumitomo HTRZ II.

I've used both the HTRZ and the HTRZ II, on a '93 V8 Quattro and the UrS6.
Both types were in 245/40x17" sizes.

Both of these tires are in the $110/tire category, both are very good
high performance street tires, both are good in the wet.  The HTRZ II
stays quiet as it wears.  The HTRZ II is better in the snow than the
HTRZ.  How good in the snow?  They work fine when I an caught in an
early snow of the 1/2" to 1" type.  I don't really know, because we don't
usually get huge amounts of snow here and when that season rolls around
I install the wheels with the studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta 1s.  And if
the snow is really deep, I can put chains on the 4x4 Dodge PU.
