Gents,
Well to clear a few things up...I am running a 3 BAR (Set to 2.6 BAR) VMAP RS2 software from Steve Eiche/ASW on my K24. Yesterday just for grins I put in the RS2 MAF and left everything else alone. Impressions...hmmmm well seems to be better at the upper RPM levels where 3/4 throttle always felt the fastest now it seems more linear. Still need to find out the details on the FPR and if it can be made adjustable or not...if I can then I can safely put in the RS2 injectors and tweak down the FPR PSI.
The RS2 EM is currently at Jet-Hot Coatings for a ceramic coating should arrive this week..will post pictures... http://www.jet-hot.com/pages/headercoatings.html my only concern is the Sterling Coating can take temps up to 1300 deg. Hopefully it does not flake off and damage the Hotside turbine. Any experiences here? EGT's on the manifold?
Once I have the RS2 Manifold installed (anyone willing to help locally ;-)) I will be putting in a K26/TO4E Garrett Hybrid #6 Housing #3 Turbine with a 50 trim coldside. For the IC in the short term planning on going w/ a misting kit from Autospeed http://www.autospeed.com/cgi-bin/browse.cgi?category=705&sc_add=1281& once I can afford a FMIC sometime in the Spring then will do that venture...although I really need to be careful on my Stock Internals...perhaps is the Mister is sufficient I will save my $$ and apply it to new rods, rings, valves, lifters, port and polish of head etc. (Any estimates on the cost there?)
Thanks gents
cp
