I have the Jet-Hot 1300 deg. coating on a Dodge Viper stainless custom
exhaust manifold and have had no problems with flaking or erosion of the
coating.  It seems to be very durable under track running temperatures,
which I would guess are around 1200 degrees F. at the junction of the
head and header.  I also have the exhaust coated with this material
through the side sills and experienced lower radiated temperatures
thorough this part of the exhaust.
