I just have to but a plug in for water / alcohol injection.
I built a simple yet very effective set-up using my stock intensive cleaner
bottle and pump, with some tubing and a cone shaped irrigation mister from
Home Depot. This nozzle is placed into the intake stream after the
intercooler and before the TB.
After several tests with the set-up using the button on the column stalk, I
decided that it did work quite well so I invested in a Audi / VW oil
pressure switch that closed at about 20 PSI and proceeded to place it in
stream just after the turbo.
All in all I spent about $35.00 CAD , most due to the purchase of a metric
drill and tap for the pressure switch.
To make this short, I don't have to look at the light on the dash to tell me
it's running. I can actually feel an increase in acceleration when it
activates. I run a mixture of windshield washer fluid and methyl alcohol. I
try to keep the ratio down so I don't damage the pump seals.
