Mark,

If you get to Germany and have problems finding a beer, I don't think there would be much anyone could do to help you :)

However if you need help selecting a beer, I suggest Erdinger Hefeweißen or Gaffel Kölsh :)

But I will also add that if its beer you're looking for, go visit Mihnea, he can hook you up with some Palm or Leffe or other Belgian specialties that will leave any German beer in the dust :)

helping him store a duffel bag full of illegal material, err, I mean
clothing,  in Fred's Paris apartment for a month, as well as helping him
find a good SIM card for his phone!
