[s-cars] silver paint - claying question

Recently I had my car polished and as a result, in some of the deeper stone
chips, there is now a tiny bit of white polish residue. He could or did not
get it all out. While the paint now is quite brilliant, there are a number
(100 +) tiny white stone chips.

Will claying remove this bit of residue?
