I've got a problem with my 95.5 S6. Here's the setup:
a.. In Feb I had a POS channel go bad. I swapped over the wires to use t=
he spare channel and things were fine.
b.. A few weeks later came another misfire. When I went to diagnose it t=
he motor went back to hitting on all 5 again, so I couldn't figure which cy=
linder had the problem. I figured I was losing another POS channel, so I b=
ought a new one from a lister.
c.. Over the past few months the misfire would pop up again, then quickly=
disappear, usually after I turned the car off and then started it back up =
again. Like running a Microsoft based car.
d.. Yesterday the misfire came, but this time it didn't leave. Using the=
remove-the-fuel-injector-plug method I determined it was #4. That made se=
nse, since the POS for #4 was the one that had the bad channel from Feb. I=
found the new POS I'd purchased months ago and popped it in, and guess wha=
t? No change! I swapped out the other POS just to be sure, again no chang=
e=2E  Darn.
e.. Checked the spark plugs, they were all tight. I changed the #4 spark=
plug and the miss was still there.
Soooo, what's the next likely place to look?

Thanks in advance,

Phil
