I don't think I would trust the belt for 105k miles.  I don't think you'll
be a happy camper if your belt snaps at less than 105k miles and you find
out Audi is not going to cover the cost of a new engine.  Ironically enough
someone with a '00 A6 just posted to the Q-list today that his timing belt
failed, with only 52k miles on the car.  He's still trying to find out what
AoA is going to do, but the initial response from the dealer wasn't that
positive.  Now his engine appears to have had an oil leak in the timing belt
area that went undiagnosed by the dealer during maintenance, which may have
contributed to the failure, but there are a lot of reports of TB failure at
well under 100k miles.
