I agree with Bob..
I wouldn't trust a belt for that long either,, We have had 4 s4's in the
last year come threw the shop with broken timing belts in the 55k -65k
range, 1 was due to leaking cam seals which destroyed the belt, the other
was a failed water pump... and the 2 others were just belt failures
s4 being notorious for leaking cam seals. I would do the timing belt service
along with the water pump and rollers.
FYI, 2 of the cars were denied warranty claims by AoA.
And that is not a cheap proposition............ 30 valves bent
Ouch,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, And if the guides are damaged you are buying new
heads........
