Listers,

What happens to a turbo when a hose blows off under high acceleration?  This
has happened to me twice where the turbo to crossover pipe hose blew off at
the X-over tube while I was attempting to pass in fourth gear, WOT.  I have
since replaced the plastic cross-over pipe with a metal one and have not
repeated the problem, but I am wondering if I did any damage to the turbo.

What say the guru's?
