The '95s are unique in that the intercooler endcaps are plastic,
unlike the intercoolers from previous years. My '95 has the same
problem (even after the SAMCO hoses). The solution (an intercooler
from a '93 S4) currently lies on the floor with a box of Breeze
constant torque clamps (thanks Fred, for the P/Ns!)
If you're replacing the IC, also replace the crossover. It's
plastic also and doesn't like curb hits on the undertray, excessive
clamp force or high boost. The earlier year S4s have metal crossover
pipes also.
