[s-cars] fuel vapor on warm days . . .

Marc,
There should be NO fuel vapor vented on warm days or cold days or any other
days. This is a major violation of environmental laws for a manufacturer
to use such a "feature". The car is not designed to do this. Have you
examined the leak closely? Was (is?) your car part of the fuel line recall
of a few years back? If so, was the fuel line replacement done at that
time? In any case, it sounds like you have a leaking fuel line which is a
major hazard and which should be repaired or replaced ASAP.
A common place for such a leak to develop is under/inside a rubber mounting
fastener which holds the line in position under the car.
