[s-cars] Defective Nokian NRW

Need some advise on this issue.  I just noticed a small sidewall bubble
(approx. ¼ x ½ x 1/8 tall) on the left rear 225/45-17 Nokian NRW snow I was
running over the winter.  Looks like a separation in the side wall fabric.
Called up a local dealer who promptly said, “Sorry, there is no road hazard
warrantee on these tires; plus they’re no longer available”.  Now I cannot
positively say that I or the previous owner of the tires didn’t get
potholed, but the rim shows no damage, nor does the sidewall itself (like
scuffing).  So what is my recourse here?  Eat the tire and be quiet or
contact Nokian’s US offices or?

 

Anyone have similar occurrence?
