[s-cars] Failed Emissions - NOX Too High - Help ple

Thanks for all the responses that came and that may/may not come.  I have
until August 11 to get this cleared up so no immediate urgency but just
don't like this kind of stuff remaining on my plate.

Do S-cars have an EGR valve?  I don't really know but will look through
Bentley tonight.

Will driving the crap out of the car (pun intended) and getting the kittys
good and hot help with NOX reading?  I neglected to mention that the
inspection station is only about 3 miles from my house so things did not
really get good and hot - or did they?

EGR Valves and their components are the typical cause of high NOX levels.
Also, the hotter the exhaust gas is, the more NOX you'll have. What is your
EGT and/or coolant temp at idle and at elevated RPM's? If you are much above
210f then you run the risk of high NOX. Does your car have an EGR valve?
Check all vacuum hoses associated with the system. If you need more help,
email me directly.
