You don't need the kit unless you damaged the old bolt.
You also don't need an alignment. Removing and reinstalling the strut housing will not make any changes to the alignment.

rusted shadow of it's former self, so I'd at least get a circlip. Replacing
the bolt isn't a bad idea either since that is what is holding the entire
contraption together.
If you remove the strut to press out the bearing, get an alignment. If you
use one of the fancy-dancy bearing puller tools that do it with the strut in
place, you should be OK without re-aligning it.
