Vincent,
FWIW, you don't have to remove or mess with any of that stuff to get your
half-shafts out of the car. If you unbolt the shafts at the trans output flange,
and the axle bolt at the hub, you can turn the steering full lock, push the
trans end of the shaft above the output flange, and then work the splined end
free of the hub. It will then come out pretty easily. Obviously, it would
still be wise to correct your swaybar mounting issues.
