If you are considering this kind of expense, I would recommend getting
them powder coated. I had my stock rims done in Colorado Springs about
3 years ago and I am very pleased with the results. The color even
matched the caps. I think that the cost was around $150/wheel including
the sandblasting required to get them down to bare metal. They are very
easy to clean, since brake dust does not seem to stick to or damage the
coating.
