Subject: [s-cars] Wheel ? (about making something work)

I bent a RH AG Cup a few months ago, and after trying
to find a "loaner" wheel to buy me some time to get
this one sent off and repaired, I decided to buy a new
	wheel.

Bent wheel (and other three) are 17*8 ET35.

GMP did not have a ET35 on teh shelf, so one was
ordered from Germany. Arrived late last week. ET 32

It seems that RH no longer makes this wheel in ET35,
	but only in ET32.

I am trying to figure out hoe the ET is measured. Is
it from centerline of wheel, front edge, or what.

My thinking is if the ET32 is just more metal at the
mounting surface (to give 3 more mm offset), then I
can just take the ET32 and have a good machine shop
mill off the additional 3mm to make the wheel an ET35.

Is this the correct line of thought?

	Thanks,
	kevin
