[s-cars] Throw-out bearing

A few people have run like this for many thousands of miles. You are
not really hurting anything. You just have a whiny bearing. The repair
will cost you $30 if you take the tranny out yourself. I just removed
the AT from my 90 last night to replace some seals. A $500 job is going
to cost me about $10.

That's what I've been doing. The whiny noise sounds horrible. Any
noise like that coming from the transmission makes my wallet hurt so
I've been not engine braking hard and rev matching for now. Is it
hurting anything besides the bearing when I hear the noise? If I don't
baby it will I ruin anything else or will I just need to replace the
clutch/bearing sooner?
Thanks,
JR
