Damn, stupid evite... sent out an auto reminder before I could send this,
sorry. Here goes...

Gentlemen-

Four days... //SFest is almost upon us. Over 30 UrS cars alone already
RSVP'd, not to mention a schmorgashborg of other interesting things. Likely
75 cars +++ to be expected. Confirmed attendees from as far as Chicago,
Michigan, Ohio, Montreal, Virginia. A few random and sometimes senseless
thoughts for you all:

-Some far away'ers will arrive late Fri. and camp, please let me know if
that is your plan if you haven't already.

-There is no official kickoff time for Sat. really, we'll be there from 8
a.m. - on setting up, aiming for starting ~ 11:00. Come early and help,
come late and party, whatever works for you. Earlier arrivals will
obviously have the better parking...

-The site is Orest "Bys" Bystrianyk's residence ('94 S4, 951, etc., Bob
Rossato's colleague). If you blink wrong you'll pass the driveway entrance
and enter Mass. The driveway is ~ 1,000 ft. of mixed gravel / dirt / grass
pavement sections. Cars with low overhangs watch the front bumper pulling
in, use the correct approach angle. *Drive slowly*, there will be
designated run off areas marked to allow 2 cars to pass around each other.
Do not deviate, active streams reside along both sides in various sections
may gobble you up. Driveway starts as long / narrow-ish (one lane) entry
that leads to a fork for a circle. Fork *RIGHT* 1/2 way up at the Gargoyle
(not kidding), up the hill and around to the field. Wait to be directed as
to where to park. Early arrivals will likely find me parking the 1st cars,
temp parking in the top most designated staging area until we figure out
where your car is best suited (yes there is a plan of sorts). Camp area is
immediately behind Gargoyle at lower field under trees.

-For directions, see the mapquest map http://makeashorterlink.com/?Q34E22F19
<http://makeashorterlink.com/?Q34E22F19> . From the center of Granby,
follow Rt. 189N... if you hit the CT / Mass state border, you passed the
driveway on the right 100 yards prior. Email me for an attachment that
details the site with pictures if you'd like.

-Thanks to those who have thus far pay pal'd, appreciate it. Those paying
that day, please see me, Bob Rossato, Jeff Postupack upon your arrival to
get checked in. There will likely be a check in table upon your entry to
the main area that all will go through though, that's the goal. Raffle will
likely occur mid-to-late afternoon, though not as extensive as last year
we've got another excellent variety of goodies for you all once again...
and a surprise to boot for the first 50 or so to arrive.

-Menus is burgs, dogs, a couple picnic salads, beans, etc. If anyone has a
favorite 'family dish' they are really fond of making and proud of, feel
free to bring it along to add to the spread. 2 fine barrels again of
course, and water / soda to break it up.

-Things to bring: lawn chair if you've got one, will certainly be a help.
Event is *rain or shine*, be a boyscout and be prepared... rain jacket /
shoes suitable for a wet grassy field if rains, sunblock for middle of the
field sun, sweatshirt for the evening hours, sunglasses to block the glare
of the bonfire, etc. And feel free to bring 'garage sale' parts &
accessories for bartering!

-There is no end time, we'll be there all morning all day all night.
Looking forward to meeting a number of new faces.

-Rt. 189 is the road he's on, it's rural, windy, smooth, not much Johnny Law
but keep eyes open. Nice part of the state to cruise.

Again, email me with any questions. Enjoy the drive guys... see you all at
//SFest!  __T_H_I_N_K___S_U_N_!!!__

-Paul
