Actually, it can work... if you drill and tap for the OEM style bolt.

If anyone has leads on a Denver machine shop willing to produce said part,
I'll be happy to investigate. I just can't find someone to make them, and
producing sets by hand is extremely time intensive.
If the bracket does fail you do lose the use of the rear bar but > there is

Catastrophic... no. But you will, without question, ruin the outer CV boot
on the side of the failure... with all of the pleasant accompanying mess. BTDT
several times.
