Bill;
You don't have to pull the tranny to fix that. You have to pull the exhaust
and the driveshaft. Same procedure as replacing the tailshaft seal.

..WRT da fix.. apparently the allen screws fell out of the trans tail
shaft..
and speaking of getting the shaft .. why would one have to pull the tranny
to fix this...or maybe thats SOP for breakdowns 900 miles from home?
And speaking of shafts of a different feather; I believe it's always good
to know the governor of each state... as ya never know when he could be the
last guy to save ya;)
That said; Joizey may be the exception.
