Wouldn't a going-CV exhibit also other symptoms than 1) a clunk / pop / boom
at full lock during 3 pt turn 2) shuddering at decelerative 85 mph???  Like
fussiness during launches, grinding, rotational thudding, etc.?  Never had
one let go to know...
 
Tx again for thoughts and thoughtless.
