Well Rich, this JUST happened to me about a month ago. I worked with
my bro-in-law (who fondly calls my car Hitler's Revenge) and I was
faced with the same dilemma. What we ended up doing was using a
dremmel with a metal cutting disc (use caution, it's a fuel line!) and
just cut the crimp off on the end, that's where it's leaking. Cut it
lengthwise and it will just bend apart and come right off. We pulled
the line off and snipped the end of the hose off. He had a
high-pressure clamping kit, so we clamped the line back on and it
hasn't leaked since. Good luck!
BTDT,
Evan
