Matt,
First one is most likely MFTS. The thermostat usually just has a longer lag
to come up to approximately the same temp as usual.
I have had your second "problem" from time to time. Once every few months
mine will ding at me. I just check the oil pressure gauge and move on with
my life. I am sure it is some type of sensor problem but it just isn't
worth chasing for me.
The third problem I also have and have done the exact same thing you have
with similar results. If you figure anything out please share as the cruise
not working is getting irritating.

Subject: [s-cars] 3 questions
Hey all, coming out of lurk mode for a sec...
Few things going on that I just need a shove in the right direction to
get dialed on the car:
1- Temp gauge not always registering when the car is warm, stays stuck
all the way down on the left as if the car wasn't even on. T-stat or
MFTS? I've misplaced my notes on troubleshooting this, but climate
control channel 51 (IIRC) is getting a value when this occurs.
2- Oil symbol flashing on autochek. Car is full of oil; pressure
problem? I'm assuming this operates off a sensor somewhere that I can
check?
3- cruise control - works intermittently. Just replaced both switches
on the clutch and brake. Any way to verify that the stalk switch is
making a good connection? Wondering if I can take that apart.
Thanks for any help.
